Sometimes, you'll need to bear with us as we attempt to capture, in picture form, the natural world that surrounds us. There are and will continue to be occasions where nature just doesn't present the right conditions - sure there are techniques to get around some of these and I want to experiment and learn more, but at times the odds are just stacked up against you in terms of conditions and capturing the moment. This blog will be the place where the less than perfect shots but noteworthy situations or stories will end up.

And sometimes, there will be a bear with us... Yes, a real bear. A real black bear in fact. Wandering around our yard. Sniffing about. Clambering the odd tree. Oh and yes, perhaps, on occasion, coming up on the deck trying to eat our new Weber grill... This was about 10pm last night with only our outside lights to illuminate the scene, hence the blurry pictures - but I hope you'll agree, worth sharing...
